Clearwater International makes transition to CTS’ managed cloud solution during COVID-19

Leading global M&A adviser, Clearwater International, is a trusted partner to its clients from its 17 European offices, with 250+ people and key partnerships in the US and APAC, priding itself on relationships that are based on transparency, trust and mutual respect. It is those same values that it recognised in CTS, during the firm’s recent transition from another provider to CTS’ secure, high performance, managed cloud solution.

The primary objective of the project was to improve the performance and availability of Clearwater’s critical IT systems for its users, which CTS achieved through migrating to a Managed Cloud and User Workspace solution.

Carl Hougton, Founder and Partner, Clearwater International, comments: “When we decided to move our existing core infrastructure, we spoke to CTS because of their strong track record in working with professional services firms.

“CTS took the time to build a Board-level relationship with us, so they knew the business, our management and our capabilities. They also worked hard to meet the very high demands of our internal IT team.”

Carl adds: “CTS’ determination to get the detail right proved critical. More so, given that no-one could have envisaged that the full go-live would happen when we had over 80 people from five UK offices just move to home working in response to COVID-19. We’d have been impressed with a slick launch without this massive impact. The fact that it was such as smooth transition in these circumstances was nothing short of amazing.”

Mohamed Bakeer, CTS’ CTO, concludes: “This is the perfect example of a firm that is pushing forward with initiatives designed to improve user and client experience during this challenging period. We are delighted to have supported Clearwater in achieving this goal and look forward to a successful, collaborative working relationship in the future.”
